Certain strong jewelry trends have continued their popularity into winter 2008 - namely, yellow and rose gold, bracelets, and the colors black and brown.  Bracelets range from the elegant unadorned gold cuff to cuffs that have been dressed up with jewels; stacked bangle bracelets are showing up on more than a few wrists. 

Brown continues to make a major statement in gems and enamel, featuring colors like cognac and mocha.  Color saturated gems like rubies, sapphires and emeralds pop against neutral clothing colors, and pendants are big and bold.
