We wanted to create a special pendant for our 2019 Mother's Day Video Contest, so Lucy Zimmerman, co-owner of Roman Jewelers and a 4th generation jewelry designer, custom designed a spectacular piece for this special contest.

Lucy likes to tell a story when she custom designs jewelry. There are many factors that she takes into consideration, but she has an innate ability to consistently manufacture one-of-a-kind masterpieces for customers.

"My inspiration as a custom jewelry designer comes from our customers. It is a process of combining the fashion and lifestyles of our customers with imagination and knowledge. It is from my father that I learned the most valuable lesson of custom jewelry design: beautiful stones do not make beautiful jewelry. Artistic vision, hard work, and striving for perfection do."

Here is the final piece that Lucy designed for our 2019 Mother's Day Contest. It features a luminous, genuine pearl surrounded by a dimensional diamond star in 14k white gold. Lucy wanted this pendant to be vibrant and stunning to ensure that the recipients felt like a super star this Mother's Day and beyond.
