A typical battery replacement leaves your watch vulnerable to moisture and debris, because your watch is not pressure sealed, which can lead to damage and loss of function. In order to keep your timepiece in the best condition, we offer our watch spa service in which our highly skilled watchmaker inspects the watch, cleans the interior, replaces the battery and necessary gaskets, reseals it using specialized equipment, performs a pressure test, and observes your watch to ensure it keeps time. Depending on the brand and requirements of your watch, our watch spa service costs between $65 and $85.
A thorough inspection is completed on every watch that is submitted for service through Roman Jewelers. This means that even a battery change requires our watchmaker to observe the timepiece after the work is completed to ensure it is functioning properly. Because our watchmaker picks up and drops off watch repairs weekly, please allow 2-3 weeks from drop-off to completion for battery changes and watch spa services, and longer if more work is required.
Watches are highly precise machines and sometimes require more than just a battery change to get them in working order. Roman Jewelers offers the services of our highly qualified watchmaker to evaluate your timepiece and determine the work necessary to return your watch to working order. In these instances, we will submit your watch to our watchmaker for an estimate to overhaul. Please allow 3 weeks to receive your estimate and 6 weeks to complete the work upon approval unless otherwise notified.
