On Tuesday, Christie’s auction house in New York sold a rare 9-carat pink diamond for $15.7 million! The diamond belonged to the estate of philanthropist and reclusive heiress Huguette M. Clark. The cushion-cut ring, known as “The Clark Pink”, set a record for the most valuable pink diamond sold in the United States.
